Mark your calendar for 2017! This year we have 3 days of fun. Starting with a Blues Festival that runs Friday, August 4 – Sunday, August 6, with a day of fun family activities all day Saturday, August 5. It’s going to be a GREAT weekend!
This will be the seventh year the Lima Crossroads Council will be supporting Camp Good Days and Special Times as a part of it’s festival mission. Camp Good Days provides services for: children with cancer, children who have a parent or sibling with cancer and/or children who have lost a parent or sibling to cancer. It also offer programs for women and men who have or have had cancer. In addition, Camp Good Days provides programs for children touched by sickle cell anemia. All of the programs and services are offered free of charge for the participants. Camp Good Days has served more than 234 individuals just within the Lima area.
We’re not done yet. Our Festival is completely run by volunteers and we still need a little more help. We’re asking for volunteers to donate an hour of their time the day of the festival to run a kids carnival game, man the information booth, or help set up and take down. If you’d like to help Lima Fest continue to be the success it has been please consider volunteering and sign up here.
